Our Custom Design Services lets you work with a design professional to create your new home’s design from scratch, ensuring that you get everything you want and need in your new home. By using LifeStyle HomeDesign, you can save thousands of dollars over hiring a private architect to design your home. Plus, if you already know exactly what you want, we can save you time from searching through thousands of pre-designed home plans.

LifeStyle HomeDesign
At LifeStyle HomeDesign, our goal is to make your dream of building the perfect home come true. Because our primary goal is customer satisfaction, we begin by asking you to fill out a criteria form. This form asks you to dictate both your general requirements, such as lot size and square footage, as well as more specific requirements, such as number of bedrooms and baths, master-suite location and the ceiling heights of the rooms. You can also attach any sketches you’ve made or photocopies of similar exteriors and/or floor plans that you like.

Once we’ve reviewed your criteria form, a design consultant will contact you to discuss your project in more detail. The purpose of this discussion is to ensure that our Custom Design Services team understands exactly what you’re looking for in your new home.

After reviewing your criteria form and discussing your project with you, a designer will then create a preliminary design of what your new home will look like. The preliminary design will consist of the following:

—    Front Elevation
—    Floor Plans

Once the preliminary design is complete, we will contact you again to review the project. At this time, you should discuss any changes or concerns you might have.

Upon your approval of the preliminary design, we will create the working drawings for your dream home. You will receive completed construction documents within 5-6 weeks, and they will include everything you need to build your new home:

—    Foundation
—    Floor Plans
—    Exterior Elevations
—    Roof Plan
—    Building Sections
—    Schematic Electrical Plan
—    Interior Cabinetry Elevations


Cost
The average cost for this service is approximately $4,000-$8,000. The cost is based on the square footage, complexity of the home and the preliminary phase.
